CrowdStrike Introduces Agentic Adversary Emulation to Counter AI-Enabled Adversaries

Traditional exposure management helps organizations identify and prioritize weaknesses largely as individual risks, and periodic red team engagements only provide deeper validation at a point in time. Neither approach alone can continuously validate defenses at the speed and scale of AI-enabled adversaries. Agentic Adversary Emulation combines specialized AI models and offensive harnesses with real-world adversary intelligence and deep knowledge of customer environments. Operating within controlled, customer-approved boundaries in production environments, it uncovers exploitable attack paths, generates prioritized remediation recommendations and compensating controls, and validates whether corrective actions have strengthened defenses.

Instead of simply identifying vulnerabilities, Agentic Adversary Emulation shows how attackers could exploit and chain weaknesses across systems and identities to compromise critical assets, and where defenses can stop them. This helps security teams understand what attackers could accomplish in their environment.

Agentic Adversary Emulation translates these exploitable attack paths into prioritized remediation actions and compensating controls that security teams can review and deploy through the CrowdStrike Falcon® platform. These may include applying patches, changing configurations, updating security policies, and creating new detections. By connecting demonstrated attack paths to corrective actions, this helps organizations focus on the weaknesses attackers can exploit and take targeted action to disrupt their progress.

After corrective actions are implemented, Agentic Adversary Emulation repeats the attack simulation to verify whether those changes successfully disrupt previously identified attack paths. This helps organizations determine whether their fixes work and whether security controls can prevent adversaries from advancing toward critical assets. By connecting attack path discovery, remediation, and validation, Agentic Adversary Emulation creates a closed loop across offense and defense: attack, defend, and validate.
