Summary: Malicious code in internallib_v524 (npm)

Details: Source: amazon-inspector (eba59f6d895fdeae2b83c62331fbb87118aa51202fd30ddc351fa43276408a44) The package's main module exports a function `command()` that invokes `/bin/bash -c` to fetch a script from reverse-shell.sh and pipe it into `sh`, connecting the installer's host back to 10.0.64.141:4433. Any consumer that requires the package and calls the exported API opens an interactive reverse shell to that hardcoded endpoint, giving the remote operator full RCE and persistent shell access on the installer's machine. The behavior is unrelated to any legitimate library function. Source: ghsa-malware (986b1a9482ee175a6f6c9e70cf898a24208376a523e93277fdb72273fb9dd521) Any computer that has this package installed or running should be considered fully compromised. All secrets and keys stored on that computer should be rotated immediately from a different computer. The package should be removed, but as full control of the computer may have been given to an outside entity, there is no guarantee that removing the package will remove all malicious software resulting from installing it.
