CVE-2024-56584
Last Modified: 18 Apr 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: io_uring/tctx: work around xa_store() allocation error issue syzbot triggered the following WARN_ON: WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 16 at io_uring/tctx.c:51 __io_uring_free+0xfa/0x140 io_uring/tctx.c:51 which is the WARN_ON_ONCE(!xa_empty(&tctx->xa)); sanity check in __io_uring_free() when a io_uring_task is going through its final put. The syzbot test case includes injecting memory allocation failures, and it very much looks like xa_store() can fail one of its memory allocations and end up with ->head being non-NULL even though no entries exist in the xarray. Until this issue gets sorted out, work around it by attempting to iterate entries in our xarray, and WARN_ON_ONCE() if one is found.
CVE-2024-56593
Last Modified: 5 Jan 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: brcmfmac: Fix oops due to NULL pointer dereference in brcmf_sdiod_sglist_rw() This patch fixes a NULL pointer dereference bug in brcmfmac that occurs when a high 'sd_sgentry_align' value applies (e.g. 512) and a lot of queued SKBs are sent from the pkt queue. The problem is the number of entries in the pre-allocated sgtable, it is nents = max(rxglom_size, txglom_size) + max(rxglom_size, txglom_size) >> 4 + 1. Given the default [rt]xglom_size=32 it's actually 35 which is too small. Worst case, the pkt queue can end up with 64 SKBs. This occurs when a new SKB is added for each original SKB if tailroom isn't enough to hold tail_pad. At least one sg entry is needed for each SKB. So, eventually the "skb_queue_walk loop" in brcmf_sdiod_sglist_rw may run out of sg entries. This makes sg_next return NULL and this causes the oops. The patch sets nents to max(rxglom_size, txglom_size) * 2 to be able handle the worst-case. Btw. this requires only 64-35=29 * 16 (or 20 if CONFIG_NEED_SG_DMA_LENGTH) = 464 additional bytes of memory.

CVE-2024-56599
Last Modified: 3 Nov 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath10k: avoid NULL pointer error during sdio remove When running 'rmmod ath10k', ath10k_sdio_remove() will free sdio workqueue by destroy_workqueue(). But if CONFIG_INIT_ON_FREE_DEFAULT_ON is set to yes, kernel panic will happen: Call trace: destroy_workqueue+0x1c/0x258 ath10k_sdio_remove+0x84/0x94 sdio_bus_remove+0x50/0x16c device_release_driver_internal+0x188/0x25c device_driver_detach+0x20/0x2c This is because during 'rmmod ath10k', ath10k_sdio_remove() will call ath10k_core_destroy() before destroy_workqueue(). wiphy_dev_release() will finally be called in ath10k_core_destroy(). This function will free struct cfg80211_registered_device *rdev and all its members, including wiphy, dev and the pointer of sdio workqueue. Then the pointer of sdio workqueue will be set to NULL due to CONFIG_INIT_ON_FREE_DEFAULT_ON. After device release, destroy_workqueue() will use NULL pointer then the kernel panic happen. Call trace: ath10k_sdio_remove ->ath10k_core_unregister …… ->ath10k_core_stop ->ath10k_hif_stop ->ath10k_sdio_irq_disable ->ath10k_hif_power_down ->del_timer_sync(&ar_sdio->sleep_timer) ->ath10k_core_destroy ->ath10k_mac_destroy ->ieee80211_free_hw ->wiphy_free …… ->wiphy_dev_release ->destroy_workqueue Need to call destroy_workqueue() before ath10k_core_destroy(), free the work queue buffer first and then free pointer of work queue by ath10k_core_destroy(). This order matches the error path order in ath10k_sdio_probe(). No work will be queued on sdio workqueue between it is destroyed and ath10k_core_destroy() is called. Based on the call_stack above, the reason is: Only ath10k_sdio_sleep_timer_handler(), ath10k_sdio_hif_tx_sg() and ath10k_sdio_irq_disable() will queue work on sdio workqueue. Sleep timer will be deleted before ath10k_core_destroy() in ath10k_hif_power_down(). ath10k_sdio_irq_disable() only be called in ath10k_hif_stop(). ath10k_core_unregister() will call ath10k_hif_power_down() to stop hif bus, so ath10k_sdio_hif_tx_sg() won't be called anymore. CVE-2024-56600
Last Modified: 3 Nov 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: inet6: do not leave a dangling sk pointer in inet6_create() sock_init_data() attaches the allocated sk pointer to the provided sock object. If inet6_create() fails later, the sk object is released, but the sock object retains the dangling sk pointer, which may cause use-after-free later. Clear the sock sk pointer on error.

Last Modified: 3 Nov 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: Fix out-of-bounds access in 'dcn21_link_encoder_create' An issue was identified in the dcn21_link_encoder_create function where an out-of-bounds access could occur when the hpd_source index was used to reference the link_enc_hpd_regs array. This array has a fixed size and the index was not being checked against the array's bounds before accessing it. This fix adds a conditional check to ensure that the hpd_source index is within the valid range of the link_enc_hpd_regs array. If the index is out of bounds, the function now returns NULL to prevent undefined behavior. CVE-2024-56615
Last Modified: 3 Nov 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: fix OOB devmap writes when deleting elements Jordy reported issue against XSKMAP which also applies to DEVMAP - the index used for accessing map entry, due to being a signed integer, causes the OOB writes. Fix is simple as changing the type from int to u32, however, when compared to XSKMAP case, one more thing needs to be addressed. When map is released from system via dev_map_free(), we iterate through all of the entries and an iterator variable is also an int, which implies OOB accesses. Again, change it to be u32. Example splat below: [ 160.724676] BUG: unable to handle page fault for address: ffffc8fc2c001000 [ 160.731662] #PF: supervisor read access in kernel mode [ 160.736876] #PF: error_code(0x0000) - not-present page [ 160.742095] PGD 0 P4D 0 [ 160.744678] Oops: Oops: 0000 [#1] PREEMPT SMP [ 160.749106] CPU: 1 UID: 0 PID: 520 Comm: kworker/u145:12 Not tainted 6.12.0-rc1+ #487 [ 160.757050] Hardware name: Intel Corporation S2600WFT/S2600WFT, BIOS SE5C620.86B.02.01.0008.031920191559 03/19/2019 [ 160.767642] Workqueue: events_unbound bpf_map_free_deferred [ 160.773308] RIP: 0010:dev_map_free+0x77/0x170 [ 160.777735] Code: 00 e8 fd 91 ed ff e8 b8 73 ed ff 41 83 7d 18 19 74 6e 41 8b 45 24 49 8b bd f8 00 00 00 31 db 85 c0 74 48 48 63 c3 48 8d 04 c7 <48> 8b 28 48 85 ed 74 30 48 8b 7d 18 48 85 ff 74 05 e8 b3 52 fa ff [ 160.796777] RSP: 0018:ffffc9000ee1fe38 EFLAGS: 00010202 [ 160.802086] RAX: ffffc8fc2c001000 RBX: 0000000080000000 RCX: 0000000000000024 [ 160.809331] RDX: 0000000000000000 RSI: 0000000000000024 RDI: ffffc9002c001000 [ 160.816576] RBP: 0000000000000000 R08: 0000000000000023 R09: 0000000000000001 [ 160.823823] R10: 0000000000000001 R11: 00000000000ee6b2 R12: dead000000000122 [ 160.831066] R13: ffff88810c928e00 R14: ffff8881002df405 R15: 0000000000000000 [ 160.838310] FS: 0000000000000000(0000) GS:ffff8897e0c40000(0000) knlGS:0000000000000000 [ 160.846528] CS: 0010 DS: 0000 ES: 0000 CR0: 0000000080050033 [ 160.852357] CR2: ffffc8fc2c001000 CR3: 0000000005c32006 CR4: 00000000007726f0 [ 160.859604] DR0: 0000000000000000 DR1: 0000000000000000 DR2: 0000000000000000 [ 160.866847] DR3: 0000000000000000 DR6: 00000000fffe0ff0 DR7: 0000000000000400 [ 160.874092] PKRU: 55555554 [ 160.876847] Call Trace: [ 160.879338] <TASK> [ 160.881477] ? __die+0x20/0x60 [ 160.884586] ? page_fault_oops+0x15a/0x450 [ 160.888746] ? search_extable+0x22/0x30 [ 160.892647] ? search_bpf_extables+0x5f/0x80 [ 160.896988] ? exc_page_fault+0xa9/0x140 [ 160.900973] ? asm_exc_page_fault+0x22/0x30 [ 160.905232] ? dev_map_free+0x77/0x170 [ 160.909043] ? dev_map_free+0x58/0x170 [ 160.912857] bpf_map_free_deferred+0x51/0x90 [ 160.917196] process_one_work+0x142/0x370 [ 160.921272] worker_thread+0x29e/0x3b0 [ 160.925082] ? rescuer_thread+0x4b0/0x4b0 [ 160.929157] kthread+0xd4/0x110 [ 160.932355] ? kthread_park+0x80/0x80 [ 160.936079] ret_from_fork+0x2d/0x50 [ 160.943396] ? kthread_park+0x80/0x80 [ 160.950803] ret_from_fork_asm+0x11/0x20 [ 160.958482] </TASK>

CVE-2024-56665
Last Modified: 3 Nov 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf,perf: Fix invalid prog_array access in perf_event_detach_bpf_prog Syzbot reported [1] crash that happens for following tracing scenario: - create tracepoint perf event with attr.inherit=1, attach it to the process and set bpf program to it - attached process forks -> chid creates inherited event the new child event shares the parent's bpf program and tp_event (hence prog_array) which is global for tracepoint - exit both process and its child -> release both events - first perf_event_detach_bpf_prog call will release tp_event->prog_array and second perf_event_detach_bpf_prog will crash, because tp_event->prog_array is NULL The fix makes sure the perf_event_detach_bpf_prog checks prog_array is valid before it tries to remove the bpf program from it. CVE-2024-56651
Last Modified: 4 Aug 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: can: hi311x: hi3110_can_ist(): fix potential use-after-free The commit a22bd630cfff ("can: hi311x: do not report txerr and rxerr during bus-off") removed the reporting of rxerr and txerr even in case of correct operation (i. e. not bus-off). The error count information added to the CAN frame after netif_rx() is a potential use after free, since there is no guarantee that the skb is in the same state. It might be freed or reused. Fix the issue by postponing the netif_rx() call in case of txerr and rxerr reporting.
CVE-2024-56670
Last Modified: 3 Nov 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: gadget: u_serial: Fix the issue that gs_start_io crashed due to accessing null pointer Considering that in some extreme cases, when u_serial driver is accessed by multiple threads, Thread A is executing the open operation and calling the gs_open, Thread B is executing the disconnect operation and calling the gserial_disconnect function,The port->port_usb pointer will be set to NULL. E.g. Thread A Thread B gs_open() gadget_unbind_driver() gs_start_io() composite_disconnect() gs_start_rx() gserial_disconnect() ... ... spin_unlock(&port->port_lock) status = usb_ep_queue() spin_lock(&port->port_lock) spin_lock(&port->port_lock) port->port_usb = NULL gs_free_requests(port->port_usb->in) spin_unlock(&port->port_lock) Crash This causes thread A to access a null pointer (port->port_usb is null) when calling the gs_free_requests function, causing a crash. If port_usb is NULL, the release request will be skipped as it will be done by gserial_disconnect. So add a null pointer check to gs_start_io before attempting to access the value of the pointer port->port_usb. CVE-2024-56675
Last Modified: 3 Nov 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix UAF via mismatching bpf_prog/attachment RCU flavors Uprobes always use bpf_prog_run_array_uprobe() under tasks-trace-RCU protection. But it is possible to attach a non-sleepable BPF program to a uprobe, and non-sleepable BPF programs are freed via normal RCU (see __bpf_prog_put_noref()). This leads to UAF of the bpf_prog because a normal RCU grace period does not imply a tasks-trace-RCU grace period. Fix it by explicitly waiting for a tasks-trace-RCU grace period after removing the attachment of a bpf_prog to a perf_event.

CVE-2024-55950
Last Modified: 15 Apr 2026Tabby (formerly Terminus) is a highly configurable terminal emulator. Prior to 1.0.216, Tabby terminal emulator contains overly permissive entitlements that are unnecessary for its core functionality and plugin system, creating potential security vulnerabilities. The application currently holds powerful permissions including camera, microphone access, and the ability to access personal folders (Downloads, Documents, etc.) through Apple Events, while also maintaining dangerous entitlements that enable code injection. The concerning entitlements are com.apple.security.cs.allow-dyld-environment-variables and com.apple.security.cs.disable-library-validation. Since Tabby's plugins and themes are NodeJS-based without native libraries or frameworks, and no environment variables are used in the codebase, it is recommended to review and remove at least one of the entitlements (com.apple.security.cs.disable-library-validation or com.apple.security.cs.allow-dyld-environment-variables) to prevent DYLD_INSERT_LIBRARIES injection while maintaining full application functionality. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.216.
