CVE-2024-25609
Last Modified: 11 Dec 2024HtmlUtil.escapeRedirect in Liferay Portal 7.2.0 through 7.4.3.12, and older unsupported versions, and Liferay DXP 7.4 before update 9, 7.3 service pack 3, 7.2 fix pack 15 through 18, and older unsupported versions can be circumvented by using two forward slashes, which allows remote attackers to redirect users to arbitrary external URLs via the (1) 'redirect` parameter (2) `FORWARD_URL` parameter, and (3) others parameters that rely on HtmlUtil.escapeRedirect. This vulnerability is the result of an incomplete fix in CVE-2022-28977.

CVE-2024-1555
Last Modified: 27 Mar 2025When opening a website using the `firefox://` protocol handler, SameSite cookies were not properly respected. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 123.
CVE-2024-1554
Last Modified: 2 Apr 2025The `fetch()` API and navigation incorrectly shared the same cache, as the cache key did not include the optional headers `fetch()` may contain. Under the correct circumstances, an attacker may have been able to poison the local browser cache by priming it with a `fetch()` response controlled by the additional headers. Upon navigation to the same URL, the user would see the cached response instead of the expected response. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 123.

CVE-2024-25974
Last Modified: 2 Apr 2025The Frentix GmbH OpenOlat LMS is affected by stored a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. It is possible to upload files within the Media Center of OpenOlat version 18.1.5 (or lower) as an authenticated user without any other rights. Although the filetypes are limited, an SVG image containing an XSS payload can be uploaded. After a successful upload the file can be shared with groups of users (including admins) who can be attacked with the JavaScript payload.
CVE-2024-25973
Last Modified: 14 Mar 2025The Frentix GmbH OpenOlat LMS is affected by multiple stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities. An attacker with rights to create or edit groups can create a course with a name that contains an XSS payload. Furthermore, attackers with the permissions to create or rename a catalog (sub-category) can enter unfiltered input in the name field. In addition, attackers who are allowed to create curriculums can also enter unfiltered input in the name field. This allows an attacker to execute stored JavaScript code with the permissions of the victim in the context of the user's browser.

CVE-2023-52439

But after core-1 device_unregister, put_device and before doing kfree, the core-2 may get_device. Then: 1. After core-1 kfree idev, the core-2 will do use-after-free for idev. 2. When core-2 do uio_release and put_device, the idev will be double freed. To address this issue, we can get idev atomic & inc idev reference with minor_lock.

CVE-2023-52438
Last Modified: 4 May 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: binder: fix use-after-free in shinker's callback The mmap read lock is used during the shrinker's callback, which means that using alloc->vma pointer isn't safe as it can race with munmap(). As of commit dd2283f2605e ("mm: mmap: zap pages with read mmap_sem in munmap") the mmap lock is downgraded after the vma has been isolated. I was able to reproduce this issue by manually adding some delays and triggering page reclaiming through the shrinker's debug sysfs. The following KASAN report confirms the UAF: ================================================================== BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in zap_page_range_single+0x470/0x4b8 Read of size 8 at addr ffff356ed50e50f0 by task bash/478 CPU: 1 PID: 478 Comm: bash Not tainted 6.6.0-rc5-00055-g1c8b86a3799f-dirty #70 Hardware name: linux,dummy-virt (DT) Call trace: zap_page_range_single+0x470/0x4b8 binder_alloc_free_page+0x608/0xadc __list_lru_walk_one+0x130/0x3b0 list_lru_walk_node+0xc4/0x22c binder_shrink_scan+0x108/0x1dc shrinker_debugfs_scan_write+0x2b4/0x500 full_proxy_write+0xd4/0x140 vfs_write+0x1ac/0x758 ksys_write+0xf0/0x1dc __arm64_sys_write+0x6c/0x9c Allocated by task 492: kmem_cache_alloc+0x130/0x368 vm_area_alloc+0x2c/0x190 mmap_region+0x258/0x18bc do_mmap+0x694/0xa60 vm_mmap_pgoff+0x170/0x29c ksys_mmap_pgoff+0x290/0x3a0 __arm64_sys_mmap+0xcc/0x144 Freed by task 491: kmem_cache_free+0x17c/0x3c8 vm_area_free_rcu_cb+0x74/0x98 rcu_core+0xa38/0x26d4 rcu_core_si+0x10/0x1c __do_softirq+0x2fc/0xd24 Last potentially related work creation: __call_rcu_common.constprop.0+0x6c/0xba0 call_rcu+0x10/0x1c vm_area_free+0x18/0x24 remove_vma+0xe4/0x118 do_vmi_align_munmap.isra.0+0x718/0xb5c do_vmi_munmap+0xdc/0x1fc __vm_munmap+0x10c/0x278 __arm64_sys_munmap+0x58/0x7c Fix this issue by performing instead a vma_lookup() which will fail to find the vma that was isolated before the mmap lock downgrade. CVE-2023-52435
Last Modified: 4 May 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: prevent mss overflow in skb_segment() Once again syzbot is able to crash the kernel in skb_segment() [1] GSO_BY_FRAGS is a forbidden value, but unfortunately the following computation in skb_segment() can reach it quite easily : mss = mss * partial_segs; 65535 = 3 * 5 * 17 * 257, so many initial values of mss can lead to a bad final result. Make sure to limit segmentation so that the new mss value is smaller than GSO_BY_FRAGS. CVE-2024-25274
Last Modified: 2 Apr 2025An arbitrary file upload vulnerability in the component /sysFile/upload of Novel-Plus v4.3.0-RC1 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via uploading a crafted file.
CVE-2024-22234
Last Modified: 2 Apr 2025In Spring Security, versions 6.1.x prior to 6.1.7 and versions 6.2.x prior to 6.2.2, an application is vulnerable to broken access control when it directly uses the AuthenticationTrustResolver.isFullyAuthenticated(Authentication) method. Specifically, an application is vulnerable if: * The application uses AuthenticationTrustResolver.isFullyAuthenticated(Authentication) directly and a null authentication parameter is passed to it resulting in an erroneous true return value. An application is not vulnerable if any of the following is true: * The application does not use AuthenticationTrustResolver.isFullyAuthenticated(Authentication) directly. * The application does not pass null to AuthenticationTrustResolver.isFullyAuthenticated * The application only uses isFullyAuthenticated via Method Security https://docs.spring.io/spring-security/reference/servlet/authorization/method-security.html or HTTP Request Security https://docs.spring.io/spring-security/reference/servlet/authorization/authorize-http-requests.html
