IO::Compress versions before 2.220 for Perl can execute arbitrary code in File::GlobMapper via an attacker-controlled output glob. _parseOutputGlob() wraps the caller-supplied output glob string in double quotes and stores it in the parser state; _getFiles() then runs the stored expression through eval STRING. A literal double quote in the output glob closes the dquote wrapper, and the characters that follow are evaluated as Perl. Arbitrary Perl in the output glob executes at the calling process's privilege.

    Last Modified: 13 Aug 2026

Flawfinder is a a static analysis tool for finding vulnerabilities in C/C++ source code. Versions prior to 2.0.20 have an improper input neutralization issue leading to output manipulation, specifically, Terminal/ANSI Escape Sequence Injection and XML Injection. A malicious file whose name contains ANSI escape sequences can end up being included in flawfinder's standard terminal output, with many effects. Untrusted fields (such as filenames, categories, or code context text) were not properly sanitized when generating structured reports. An attacker could exploit this to corrupt CSV formats or inject arbitrary XML attributes into SonarQube outputs via output_sonar(). It impacts those who use flawfinder to evaluate intentionally malicious filenames or file contents. This issue has been fully patched in Version 2.0.20 (released 2026-05-16). There is no configuration-based workaround within older versions of flawfinder. If an immediate upgrade is not possible, users can mitigate the risk by pre-scanning filenames, inspecting raw output, and/or restricting untrusted inputs.

Notepad++ is a free and open-source source code editor. Prior to 8.9.6.1, the <Command> tag text content inside <UserDefinedCommands> in shortcuts.xml is read by NppXml::value(aNode) (Parameters.cpp:3658) in the feedUserCmds() function and stored in UserCommand._cmd without any validation. When the user clicks the corresponding entry in the Run menu, NppCommands.cpp:4264 creates a Command object with string2wstring(ucmd.getCmd()) and calls run(), which invokes ShellExecute (RunDlg.cpp:221) with the attacker-controlled string as the executable path. The injected command appears as a normal menu item in the Run menu, making it a viable persistence mechanism. This vulnerability is fixed in 8.9.6.1.

    Last Modified: 4 Sept 2026

Starlette is a lightweight ASGI framework/toolkit. Prior to version 1.0.1, the HTTP `Host` request header was not validated before being used to reconstruct `request.url`. Because the routing algorithm relies on the raw HTTP path while `request.url` is rebuilt from the `Host` header, a malformed header could make `request.url.path` differ from the path that was actually requested. Middleware and endpoints that apply security restrictions based on `request.url` (rather than the raw `scope` path) could therefore be bypassed. Users should upgrade to a version greater than or equal to version 1.0.1, which validates the `Host` header against the grammar of RFC 9112 §3.2 / RFC 3986 §3.2.2 when constructing `request.url` and falls back to `scope["server"]` for malformed values.

Improper Encoding or Escaping of Output vulnerability in elixir-tesla tesla allows multipart part header injection via unescaped Content-Disposition parameter values. Tesla.Multipart.part_headers_for_disposition/1 interpolates each disposition parameter as #{k}="#{v}" with no validation of CR (\r), LF (\n), or double-quote characters. The values come verbatim from the caller via Tesla.Multipart.add_field/4 (the name parameter), Tesla.Multipart.add_file/3, and Tesla.Multipart.add_file_content/4 (both the filename parameter and other disposition opts). A " in the value closes the quoted parameter early; a \r\n ends the Content-Disposition header line and starts a new part header (such as a forged Content-Type), or, after a second \r\n, ends the entire part header block and prepends bytes to the part body. The default-filename path in add_file/3 derives the filename via Path.basename/1, which does not strip CR or LF, so any application forwarding a partially-attacker-controlled file path inherits the same issue. CVE-2026-48206

    Last Modified: 6 Jul 2026

Improper Input Validation, Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key vulnerability in Apache Camel JIRA component. The camel-jira producers read their operation parameters - the issue key, project key, transition id, summary, type, assignee, components, watchers, link type, work-log minutes and others - from Exchange message headers. The header constants defined in JiraConstants (for example ISSUE_KEY = IssueKey, ISSUE_PROJECT_KEY = ProjectKey, ISSUE_TRANSITION_ID = IssueTransitionId, LINK_TYPE = linkType) used plain, non-Camel-prefixed values. Because these names do not start with the Camel / camel prefix, HttpHeaderFilterStrategy - which blocks only the Camel header namespace on the HTTP boundary - let them pass from an inbound HTTP request straight into the Exchange. In a route that bridges an HTTP consumer (for example platform-http) into a jira: producer, any HTTP client could therefore supply these headers and override the values the route intended, driving JIRA operations against the configured JIRA instance with the endpoint's configured service-account credentials - for example deleting or transitioning an arbitrary issue (via IssueKey / IssueTransitionId), creating an issue in a different project (via ProjectKey), modifying issue fields, adding or removing watchers, or logging work. The operations are bounded by what the configured service account is permitted to do. No credentials are required from the attacker when the bridging consumer is unauthenticated. This issue affects Apache Camel: from 4.0.0 before 4.14.8, from 4.15.0 before 4.18.3, from 4.19.0 before 4.21.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.21.0, which fixes the issue. If users are on the 4.14.x LTS releases stream, then they are suggested to upgrade to 4.14.8. If users are on the 4.18.x releases stream, then they are suggested to upgrade to 4.18.3. After upgrading, routes that drive JIRA operations via the raw header names must use the CamelJira* names (for example CamelJiraIssueKey) instead of the old values. For deployments that cannot upgrade immediately, strip the camel-jira control headers from any untrusted ingress before the jira: producer (for example removing the IssueKey, ProjectKey, IssueTransitionId and related headers at the start of the route), and set the required JIRA operation parameters from a trusted source.

    Last Modified: 6 Jul 2026

Improper Input Validation, Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in Apache Camel DNS component. The camel-dns producers read DNS operation parameters - the resolver to query, the name or domain to look up, the record type and class, and the search term - from Exchange message headers whose constant values (DnsConstants.DNS_SERVER, DNS_NAME, DNS_DOMAIN, DNS_TYPE, DNS_CLASS, TERM) were the plain strings dns.server, dns.name, dns.domain, dns.type, dns.class and term. Because these names do not start with the Camel / camel prefix, HttpHeaderFilterStrategy - which blocks only the Camel header namespace on the HTTP boundary - let them pass from an inbound HTTP request straight into the Exchange. In a route that bridges an HTTP consumer (for example platform-http) into a dns: producer, any HTTP client could therefore set the dns.server header to make the dig producer build a SimpleResolver pointing at an attacker-controlled DNS server - a server-side request forgery via DNS, through which the attacker observes the queried name and can return poisoned responses - and set the dns.name / dns.domain headers to resolve arbitrary internal hostnames, disclosing whether they exist (internal network reconnaissance). No credentials are required when the bridging consumer is unauthenticated. This issue affects Apache Camel: from 4.0.0 before 4.14.8, from 4.15.0 before 4.18.3, from 4.19.0 before 4.21.0. CVE-2026-48204

    Last Modified: 6 Jul 2026

Improper Input Validation, Improper Access Control vulnerability in Apache Camel in Camel Mongodb Gridfs component. The camel-mongodb-gridfs producer selects the GridFS operation to perform from the gridfs.operation Exchange header when the endpoint's operation parameter is not set - which is the default. The control-header constants (GridFsConstants.GRIDFS_OPERATION, GRIDFS_OBJECT_ID, GRIDFS_METADATA, GRIDFS_CHUNKSIZE, GRIDFS_FILE_ID_PRODUCED) were the plain strings gridfs.operation, gridfs.objectid, gridfs.metadata, gridfs.chunksize and gridfs.fileid. Because these names do not start with the Camel / camel prefix, HttpHeaderFilterStrategy - which blocks only the Camel header namespace on the HTTP boundary - let them pass from an inbound HTTP request straight into the Exchange. In a route that bridges an HTTP consumer (for example platform-http) into a mongodb-gridfs: producer with no explicit operation, any HTTP client could therefore set the gridfs.operation header to override the route's intended operation - switching, for example, a file upload to remove (deleting a file identified by the attacker-supplied gridfs.objectid), listAll (enumerating every file in the bucket) or findOne (reading a file) - and supply a gridfs.metadata value that is parsed as a MongoDB document, enabling NoSQL operator injection. No credentials are required when the bridging consumer is unauthenticated. This issue affects Apache Camel: from 4.0.0 before 4.14.8, from 4.15.0 before 4.18.3, from 4.19.0 before 4.21.0. Detection is best done via a command line of grep -rE "cpanel_jsonapi_func=redisAble" /var/cpanel/logs /usr/local/cpanel/logs/ 2>/dev/null in Bash. If you get no output, you have not been hit with exploitation of the vulnerability. If there is output, we recommend you examine the IP addresses in the list, determine if they are valid IP addresses, and if not, block them. To determine damage done, examine the system logs for use by the detected IP addresses. The issue is related to mishandling of Redis enable/disable features. The recommended minimum version is 2.4.7.

    CVE-2026-48095

    Last Modified: 8 Jun 2026

7-Zip is a file archiver with a high compression ratio. Versions 26.00 and prior contain a heap buffer overflow vulnerability caused by an under-allocation in the NTFS compressed stream buffer (GetCuSize shift UB), potentially allowing attackers to cause arbitrary code execution or application crashes. CInStream::GetCuSize() in the NTFS handler computes the compression-unit buffer size as (UInt32)1 << (BlockSizeLog + CompressionUnit), and a crafted image with ClusterSizeLog >= 28 and CompressionUnit == 4 drives the exponent to 32, which is undefined behavior and collapses on x86/x64 so _inBuf is allocated as 1 byte. ReadStream_FALSE then writes up to 256 MB of attacker-controlled data into that 1-byte buffer in 64 KB iterations, and because the CInStream object sits only 304 bytes after _inBuf, its vtable pointer is overwritten and the next dispatched call achieves a vtable hijack. On 32-bit builds the overflow is unconditionally reached; on 64-bit it requires the parallel 8 GB _outBuf allocation to succeed, otherwise failing closed to denial of service. The NTFS handler is enabled by default in stock 7z.dll and, via signature-based fallback matching "NTFS " at offset 3, will open a crafted image regardless of file extension during extraction or testing. Version 26.01 fixes the issue.

Traefik is an HTTP reverse proxy and load balancer. Prior to 2.11.48, 3.6.19, and 3.7.3, there is a high severity vulnerability in Traefik's StripPrefix middleware that allows an unauthenticated attacker to bypass route-level authentication and authorization. When a public router matches on a PathPrefix rule and applies the StripPrefix middleware, a request path containing .. or its percent-encoded form %2e%2e can match the public route at routing time and then, after the prefix is stripped and the path is normalized, resolve to a path served by a separate, authenticated router. As a result, an attacker can reach protected backend paths — such as admin or internal configuration endpoints — without satisfying the authentication middleware attached to the protected router. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.11.48, 3.6.19, and 3.7.3.

In versions 7.1.8 and prior, the POST /runners/load-reader endpoint in DbGate accepts a functionName parameter that is directly interpolated into a JavaScript code template without any sanitization or validation. An authenticated user (with basic access, no special permissions required) can inject arbitrary JavaScript code that executes on the server with full process privileges, bypassing the require=null sandbox restriction. An authenticated user with basic access (no admin role, no run-shell-script permission required) can: execute arbitrary OS commands on the DbGate server with the privileges of the Node.js process, read/write any file accessible to the process, pivot to connected databases by reading connection credentials from DbGate's storage, and compromise the host system - in Docker deployments, this typically means root access within the container. Version 7.1.9 contains a patch.

    Last Modified: 16 Jun 2026

Mastodon is a free, open-source social network server based on ActivityPub. In versions there is a missing condition in the check if remote accounts consented to be featured in a remote Collection could lead to attackers bypassing the check and faking consent. An attacker could forge the FeatureAuthorization object that is used to verify consent to be featured in a Collection and thus make it appear as if an account is allowed to be in a Collection when it actually is not. While the FeatureAuthorization must reside on the same domain as the object it is for, a check is missing to make sure said object is actually the same as in the Collection item. This allows an attacker to forge the authorization. Mastodon servers are affected only if running the main branch or nightly builds who have opted into testing the experimental "Collections" feature by setting the environment variable EXPERIMENTAL_FEATURES to a value including collections. This has been patched in version 4.6.0-beta.1.

TinyMCE is an open source rich text editor. Prior to 5.11.1, 7.9.3, and 8.5.1, there is a stored XSS vulnerability in the media plugin. Attackers can inject malicious scripts via crafted data-mce-* attributes, which are executed when content is rendered. Impacts users of TinyMCE with the media plugin enabled. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.11.1, 7.9.3, and 8.5.1.

Squid is a caching proxy for the Web. Prior to 7.6, due to an improper validation of syntactic correctness of input in the FTP gateway (src/clients/FtpGateway.cc), Squid is vulnerable to an out-of-bounds read: when a listing entry date in the TypeA or TypeB directory-listing formats is not followed by a filename, parsing was not restricted to the input buffer, so a trusted client accessing a misbehaving FTP server through Squid's gateway feature could read memory from random unrelated transactions. This issue is fixed in version 7.6.

    Last Modified: 24 Jul 2026

DbGate is cross-platform database manager. Versions 7.1.8 and prior are vulnerable to authenticated Remote Code Execution (RCE). Any user with valid DbGate credentials can execute arbitrary OS commands as root by exploiting an unsanitized `functionName` parameter in the `/runners/load-reader` endpoint. The `require = null` mitigation is trivially bypassed via dynamic `import()`. Version 7.1.9 contains a patch.

    Last Modified: 23 Jul 2026

DbGate is cross-platform database manager. In versions 7.1.8 and prior, DbGate's JSON script runner (`POST /runners/start`) allows remote code execution via code injection in the `functionName` parameter of JSON script `assign` commands. The `functionName` value is interpolated directly into dynamically generated JavaScript source code via string concatenation. The generated code is then executed in a forked Node.js child process. Version 7.1.9 contains a patch.

Prior to 3.2.5 and 4.1.0, the Vitest UI/API server on Windows used isFileServingAllowed incorrectly for /__vitest_attachment__, allowing \\?\\..\\ path traversal to read files outside the project; exposed API write and rerun features such as saveTestFile and rerun could also allow arbitrary script execution. CVE-2026-47323

    Last Modified: 4 Jun 2026

Camel-CXF and Camel-Knative Message Header Injection via Missing Inbound Filtering The CXF and Knative HeaderFilterStrategy implementations (CxfRsHeaderFilterStrategy in camel-cxf-rest, CxfHeaderFilterStrategy in camel-cxf-transport, and KnativeHttpHeaderFilterStrategy in camel-knative-http) only filter outbound Camel-internal headers via setOutFilterStartsWith, while not configuring inbound filtering via setInFilterStartsWith. As a result, an unauthenticated attacker can inject Camel-internal headers (e.g. CamelExecCommandExecutable, CamelFileName) via HTTP requests to CXF-RS or CXF-SOAP endpoints. When a route forwards messages from these endpoints to header-driven components such as camel-exec or camel-file, the injected headers override configured values, enabling remote code execution or arbitrary file writes. This is the same pattern that was previously addressed in camel-undertow (CVE-2025-30177), the broader incoming-header filter (CVE-2025-27636 and CVE-2025-29891), and non-HTTP strategies (CVE-2026-40453). This issue affects Apache Camel: from 3.18.0 before 4.14.6, from 4.15.0 before 4.18.2. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.19.0, which fixes the issue. If users are on the 4.18.x LTS releases stream, then they are suggested to upgrade to 4.18.2. If users are on the 4.14.x LTS releases stream, then they are suggested to upgrade to 4.14.6.
